I recently bought a DJI Phantom 4 and every time I try to render the video I get blue screen screen crashes when the video render quality is anything over 720p. I have a multi boot system and every OS crashes the same with a blue screen So im assuming its a problem with my GPU. any help would be greatly appreciated the BSOD number is 0124. My GPU is an nvidia gtx 970

Sorry I made my original post quite late after a long and very frustrating day of trying to resolve this issue. please allow me to elablorate a little. I have proshow gold on one system and that just auto closes when I try to import video footage captured by the phantom 4 drone, and I have Cyberlink power director on another os which allows me to convert to avi and even H.265 HEVC but whenever Itry to render in 1080p to upload to youtube the render crashed and BSOD every time around 50% of the render complete.

Hi and welcome to TSG :),

Sadly, that error code can be related to a hardware problem with your graphics card as you suspected. Before we jump to conclusions, however, I suggest testing the matter thoroughly.

To begin with, run a monitoring program and let us know what are the temperatures of all your components, both when idle and under load. After that, load in safe mode, remove your video drivers and install the latest versions (you can find them on the manufacturer's website). Also, you could run your card on a different PC and see how it performs there. Again, install the newest drivers from the manufacturer.

Keep us posted,
