Hey all, not entirely sure if this is the right section but ;
I may be inheriting a computer from my grandfather as he left all his up for grabs (this is the only functional MODERN system in his house) and my laptop is failing and slowly performing worse and worse. His computer has specs to do schoolwork with and play some basic games, I.e Minecraft (2010 or 2009 HP Pavilion series desktop)
His computer will inevitably have a password on it that I will not know and he never left any notes (probably didn't think of it, I don't blame him)
How do I bypass the password?
Next ; this doesn't really relate much to the title but
I'd then need to delete all files that aren't the OS. Is there an option to do that (Win 7 Home) or do I need to manually do it? What folders MUST I avoid to keep the system in shape without keeping everything that I don't want?
