If that's a factory-brand computer, advise us what brand name and model name and model number it is.
If that's a self-built computer, advise us what brand name and model number its motherboard is.

First, you can't do an upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 10.
Second, if that computer is as old as I'm guessing it is, it definitely won't support Windows 10.

Good chance the graphics card won't support Windows 10. As a computer club Windows 10 instructor, I've seen a number of older computers - even with Windows 7 - where the graphics card was the stumbling block to upgrading. And remember, now you have to buy a complete version (upgrade version wouldn't work anyway with XP or Vista. Doesn't pay.)

When was this supposed factory reset anyway? XP hasn't been supported for some time now.
