I have a wd external hard drive every thing was working well until one day it stopped working on my xbox one it doesnt detect it....
it works perfectly on my lap top do you guys know any reason why this is happening.
ive since formated the hard drive and still nothing..
Plug it into the laptop and then pull up Disk Management. Look at the external HDD and check if there's more than one volume on the disk. If so, delete this volume, and then format the entire disk as FAT32. That should be readable by the Xbox.
yeah i thought that too so i shall try that... e of it what if that doesnt work.. butt it does need to be ntfs im sure of it to be able to play on the xbox or do i need it fat32 for the xbox to detect it??
thanks for your help so far though pal..
ive fixed this issue due to some more research bought 3.0 converter didnt do a thing at all and found this so hope it helps others...
search in google xbox one external storage device converter 1.1 and download once downloaded follow the steps... some seemed different i think this may be due to different os
