Sophos endpoint security is an enterprise level protection system that should not be installed on domestic ( home) computers. It needs a central admin to operate it that has the knowledge & ability to exclude false positives and company specific files.
Is this a company computer or a home computer?
at a first glance, those entries look like false alarms
This is a company computer. My IT department just told me to download malwarebytes but when I try opening the setup file, it keeps getting automatically closed? Any recommendations?
we will not assist with company computers
It is highly likely to be a setting in Sophos endpoint blocking unauthorised files from running IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING CORPORATE/COMPANY OWNED COMPUTERS
Please do not request assistance for corporate/company owned computers. Many changes/deletions are made during the clean up process, some of which may involve uninstalling programs, deleting folders/files, changing settings and/or removing policies etc. As we have no way of knowing for sure if these are actually needed for company operations, malware issues in these cases should be handled by your own IT Departments in order to avoid any undesirable results.
