Sony VAIO VPCEF21FD Notebook
It originally came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Its support site has no downloadable drivers for Windows 10.
Its marketing specifications section show it as having a Marvell Atheros AR9285 wireless device.
Go into the Device Manager, then expand the Network Adapters heading.
What's the exact description of the wireless device listed there?
Double-click that wireless device to open its properties window.
Click the "Details" tab, then select "Hardware Ids" in the list.
What's the exact 4-character codes that follow VEN_ and DEV_ in those strings?
Click the "Driver" tab.
What's the exact driver version and driver date listed there?
Per that same vendor code and vendor code, the Microsoft Update Catalog site identifies that device as a Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 wireless device.
The Windows 10 64-bit driver listed for it is version 10.0.0.344, dated 07/19/2016. http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=ven_168c&dev_002b
Both of those networking devices(ethernet and wireless) should be working with Windows 10.
Since we're not there to see your modem/router and your laptop and how everything is set up, I suggest you ask a computer-knowledgeable family member or friend to help you.
