I am getting horrible pings around 1000ms and I tried loading speedtest.net but gave up after a minute. My wifi performs much better but I am getting some weird system stuttering when I use the internet while listening to music on my hard drive or watching videos off my hard drive. The audio cuts out awfully. I was hoping I could clear that issue up by switch to ethernet but since the router is on another floor running a cable isn't an option.
It's 100mbit FiOS, don't see why that matters though since wifi works fine. I am guessing it's some sort of noise in the electrical line. I naively assumed this would be Ethernet quality as it's my first time trying power line adapter.
I have it hooked up to a JVC TH-G31 it's quite nice. Almost have surround sound working too.
