I want an image I am printing to fill the A4 page

I am trying to print a cover on glossy paper for my travel journals before I have it bound. I find that whether I use Adobe Photoshop Elements or inset the cover into an Excel worksheet it always prints with a white border (most of the image is black). This may not be the right forum but I hope someone can help.

When I print in Photoshop I select Fit On Page, and in Excel the image appears to fill the page but in the preview I can't completely get rid of the borders.

My o/s is Windows 10.

Are you wanting Borderless and using Elements to do the printing ???

If I'm ever "Forced" to move to W10 ....
I'll probably install Irfanview and do all my Photoshop (*.psd) printing from it ... like I do in W7
..... About 3 less buttons to click on and a more initiative menu.

Borderless enlarges the image to make sure it covers the paper edges to compensate for any printer registration error.
I usually adjust the image size to compensate for the print routine enlargement.

I figure Borderless enlarges to about 1/8 inch on all 4 sides ... larger than the paper size.
For this reason, I'd suggest you center the image better ...
to prevent any paper edge cropping ....
and you may also want to add to the canvas size (edges) ...

When the print routine enlarges to borderless .. It also crops to the paper edges.
