Hi guys,
My PC won't start up. It makes it a black screen and gets stuck on "verifying pool data page"
I've attached a screen shot
I've tried various troubleshooting but no luck yet.
I've reset CMOS (couldn't find button so I took battery out for a couple minutes)
I've disconnected and reconnected my Ram, Graphics Card and even HDD chords. Everything looks tight I don't see any loose wires or anything.
I've messed around with bios settings alot. I've tried "use optimized default settings"
And in advanced settings I've tried changing the order of boots (something along those lines)
No luck I'm starting to think I need a new hdd?
My specs are below any help or suggestions would be great. Let me know what you think I should do. Last resort would be taking it into a specialist as they're just so costly, but I will if I have to.
Thanks, Yac
Gigabyte Ex58-UD4
I7 CPU 3.2 Ghz
Windows 10
22 GB ram
Nvidia 950 Gtx (this is an old picture I've upgraded graphics)
There is a clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard just to the left of the battery
22) CLR_CMOS (Clearing CMOS Jumper)
Use this jumper to clear the CMOS values (e.g. date information and BIOS configurations) and reset the CMOS values to factory defaults. To clear the CMOS values, place a jumper cap on the two pins to temporarily short the two pins or use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch the two pins for a few seconds.
Always turn off your computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before clearing the CMOS values.
• After clearing the CMOS values and before turning on your computer, be sure to remove the jumper cap from the jumper. Failure to do so may cause damage to the motherboard.
• After system restart, go to BIOS Setup to load factory defaults (SELECT LOAD FAIL SAFE DEFAULTS)
The error you have is often a BIOS problem, HOWEVER it may be caused by faulty hardware.
Try the above first and if no success see if the computer will boot from a disc or usb presuming you can get to boot options
Did you try booting from a disc or usb on a boot disc of some manner as I recommended
It would not matter if that was Linux or a Windows 10 installation disc
as here https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000474.htm
Point 6 on the link
I do not recommend you follow the suggestion on the link about erasing the hard drive, just try with it disconnected as the drive is not necessary of course to boot
I do recommend you try with just one stick of ram and change those over
As explained on my reply and on the link it can be faulty hardware which is preventing the loading completion of the desktop management interface
Tried clearing cmos, did not work.
I tried booting from USB. It took me to windows setup page but all options failed. Windows installation, upgrade, startup repair, troubleshoot and system restore all failed. Random errors with each one.

No need to re quote my posts to me, just type in box that appears please not by clicking reply on my post
What please were the random errors you mention - this may give us a clue as to what is wrong
