Also borrow a USB keyboard, attach that and see if everything types.
If that works also, then you have 3 choices:
1. Use the onscreen keyboard
2. Buy and use a USB connected (or blutooth if your laptop has that) keyboard
3. Replace or get the keyboard replaced.
On most laptops it's very easy to replace a keyboard; but, we need to complete model number to help you with that. It's on the same sticker as the serial number, usually on the bottom or underneath the battery. What is that model number?
