Hi I recently bought a new mini computer with has a bult in sata 2.5 container I don't know what sata drive or version to get can I get any one I don't mind if the speed slows down but I do won't it to work dos it matter if I use sata 1 2 or 3 ? Do thay all work with each others port
There is a picture showing a drive inside the case at that link if you scroll down, looks like a standard SSD is fitted.
You could use a mechanical hard drive (HDD) as well I think but a Solid State Drive (SSD) will be faster.
Any 2.5" drive will fit the connector in that computer and any of the Sata ratings will work but a new drive will be the fastest Sata 3 type.
EXCEPT I would check the depth of the hole for the drive, you may need to get a slim type that is 7mm thick, most new SSDs and HDDs are that thick but some older HDDs are 12mm.
You're welcome and good luck with your new mini-pc.
