Well I explain my problem, I was using my pc this morning and turn it off for breakfast, when I turn it on it says the following: Windows has not started because the following file is missing or damaged: windows root> \ system32 \ hal.dll. In the end I have looked for tutorials in YT to fix it but they tell me that I need the installation CD of windows xp which I do not have, you can help me with that, I will be well aware of your answers thanks
I have both the Original XP Pro and the SP3 files. If you'd like, and it's not against the rules, which I can't see it is, I can zip both the files and upload them here.
Obviously you'll need a way to copy the files to your XP installation.
Pretty sure you'll find that is violating Microsoft copyright(s). Please do not do that.
