I'm trying to share a fibre connection between two houses about 500m apart. I cannot lay wire so I need an alternative option (such as line of sight/wireless transmission).
Would anyone have any reasonably priced products they could recommend to transmit fibre in this way?
You can most certainly run fiber along that distance. It'll just cost you more money as you have to use 9 micron single mode fiber along with using LX/LR optics. LX is long range 1 Gig optics and LR is 10 Gig long range optics. There are even long range optics which are rated in the kilometers.
Hey. Yes. Been trying to get more riding in this year. Lots of crazy personal issues. Went to the track again this year as in previous years. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to match my lap times from last year which were the fastest I've ever clocked. I still managed to tear up some rubber. Have some pics of my front and rear tires with some shredded up rubber.
Getting back to the thread, your interpretation of the situation is more plausible.
