I have an original NES game console (mid 80's) with a 75 ohm coaxial output to a vhf CRT television input. I would like to bring the unit back to life and I have been searching for a switch that can adapt to an HDMI digital television input. I have spoken directly to Nintendo and they could not assist. I have searched the internet for a converter but to no avail.
Thanking all in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer.
In Your first link the description says HDMI but I don't see any HDMI connection on the device they are selling. Only VGA. Your second link is HDMI to VGA when you need VGA to HDMI with that device.I believe the NES had RCA output jacks also so you could use a RCA composite Video to HDMI if they make them ,I will search and see what I can find.
The 75 ohm connector was a Channel 3 or 4 analog TV output.
If your TV has RCA input jacks you could hook it up that way. I had one of the original NES but my son talked me out of it.
That's why I also mentioned you'd need the 'also purchased' item which is a VGA to HDMI converter.
