I can’t login to my HP laptop, and I’ve tried everything I can think of. It won’t let me reset my password without a reset disk, and I don’t know how to make one of those.
How can anyone here suggest something new if you have not listed everything that you have tried? Also, the site's rules prohibit helping with cracking or bypassing passwords. You will only get legitimate and Microsoft approved methods here.
Unfortunately, in this case, a reset disc (or USB flash drive) needs to be created while logged into your local account. Should you be able to get back into your Windows user account, here is a link to how to create such a disk.
Exactly what is the problem? Do you enter what you believe is the correct password and you get rejected or don't you even get a chance to choose a user name and enter a password?

I put in a password and it rejects it. I have tried creating a USB flash drive reset disk, but every time I attempt to use it, it rejects that as well. I never changed my password, and even have it written down what it should be, but it always denies it.
Is the Windows 10 User Account linked to a Microsoft Account (that is, it's not a local account)?
If so, are you able to log in to your Microsoft Account?
If so, change your password for your Microsoft Account and that change propagates down to the Windows 10 user account to which it is linked. You can then use that new password to log in.
By the way, you can neither create or use a password reset drive after an issue occurs (nor on any machine except the specific one you're working on). Password reset drives must be made pre-need to be of any use whatsoever.

It would help us to help you, per my request in my first post, to tell us exactly what you have tried so far without success.
1) Have you clicked on the eye icon to the right side of the password entry box after typing in the password to make sure it is being entered correctly? A bad keyboard could be sending the wrong characters.
Yes, I have checked to see if my password is correct. I’ve entered it probably 100 times over and over, and every other password it could possibly be. And no, I have not booted it in safe mode. How exactly would one go about that?
