This is on windows 10. Clicking on chrome or trying to launch it does nothing except flash a blue scrolling wheel for a split second. Online tutorials told me to delete chrome.dll file but when I tried to I got a message basically saying “cannot do this because windows are open using this file”. I then tried uninstalling chrome and got another message basically saying “cannot uninstall while chrome windows are open”. So then I thought, maybe chrome is hiding the windows or they are invisible? So I checked task manager and there are no tasks running for google or chrome. Can someone please help me I have to take an online final exam! Thank you.
Yes I scrolled through task manager, I have tried restarting, and no I don’t absolutely have to. I’d have to set up some programs to do it on another device, so it’s more of a quality of life thing but chromes got all my passwords and whatnot
