Hi. I recently got an alert in my quickstart bar that my windows hasn't been updated or checked for updates since Sept. 28. I try to search for updates and this is what it says:
There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80080005)
That's what it says when I disable windows defender firewall. When it's active, it just endlessly searches.
I try the windows update troubleshooter and nothing happens. I tried a standalone installation from the microsoft website and got this error: 0x80080005 (same as above).
I tried the net stop wuauserv in cmd but that didn't work. I did sfc /scannow and it says it found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. I've attached the file because it was too long to post.
I've also included screenshots. There is nothing there when I open security.
Help please!
