Computer has been freezing a lot lately, possible malware?

Hello,

I built my current PC in November of 2017, and within the last month or so I've been getting frequent issues with the computer freezing when using multiple different programs and also running extremely slow when not frozen. I haven't made any changes to the PC or installed any new programs.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Is C: a 480 GB solid state drive(SSD) or hard disk drive(HDD)?
Regardless of which one it is, it appears to be about 85% full, so that may be one reason for your computer's slowness issue.

We have no way of knowing how well you maintain your computer and what's installed in it, so there may be other reasons for its slowness issue.
Have you considered doing a "clean" reinstall of Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 Build 18363 64-bit and getting a fresh start?
