Hey, I own a cyberpowerpc, model number: GUA1200BST. I’ve ran into a issue in which I can’t find a way to solved. My computer is rebooting before it even gets to the window’s logo. My boot menu stopped working so I can’t even troubleshoot. How should I go about fixing this?
you can try booting live linux from USB just to see if it will boot.
that is to make sure this indeed is bios problem (or other hardware problem).
then if it is, you can see if flushing bios would resolve the problem. note that flushing bios can end up is serious problems, such as screwing up motherboard,
I do not recommend it if you never done it before.
Otherwise, or, If your laptop is still under warranty you should visit computer shop instead.
So, you cannot get to the screen that has the windows icon and the circling? then it sounds like it cannot find the drive, but it shouldn't reboot... To confirm, you cannot get into the BIOS (this is before Windows boot)
If you can, as soon as you get to the circling, take out the power. wait for a few seconds and then reboot. If you do not see Automatic Repair, then repeat the steps until you trigger the Automatic Repair.
OK, you can tell by the back... if there are video ports near the middle/bottom of the machine, chances are that there is a video card in a AGP/PCI/PCIe slot.
The reason I ask is that one user I found with a similar issue removed their dedicated video card and it resolved their issue.
I have discovered the problem with the computer. My Hardrive wasn’t working properly or whoever prebuilt it didn’t hook it up correctly. I plugged a 500gb data into it and reset the windows. Then plugged my 1tb hardrive in and it started working sgain
