Thanks. There was a list or library of various exe files one could use to look up. It was an alpha list so you could enter or look up say, crss.exe or whatever and get a good description of what various exe files are and what they do. I used it often for checking the validity of exe files found in the process list or elsewhere. Thanks.
This program will tell you who is the publisher of executable (if digitally signed)
You can also use it to jump to virus total report for any executable. (right click -> Check virus total)
file.net and processlibrary.com are a couple that i see when I search for a specific item.
