Howdy. I've got the same problem as described in this thread. I'd already run across the MS support doc they say to read. The problem is, I can't get beyond the blank screen in order to do any of the things they say to fix the problem. I (stupidly) don't have a boot/start up disk, and no matter what I try to do, everytime I start up my computer I get the error messages and then the blank screen. Someone please please tell me what to do.

I basically did just that. I was just about to head back here and say that after a bunch more research I found a place to download all the files for a new bootdisk (the aptly domained bootdisk.com). Thanks for the help. This place seems to be a great resource, and knowing my luck with computers, I'll be back.
