Im sorry to BUMP but i have to. This is my work computer and the only way to temporarily fix the problem is to restart my computer. i have done that 3 times so far today and its getting worse. Please can someone look at my log and give me some direction on how the heck to fix this.

Thank you very much.

Hi nerous,

I don't see any malware in the log.

Try removing all of the Google stuff and see if that makes a difference.

here is an updated log after removing the google update. the problem seems to have something to do with video. if i am watching a tv show on ninjavideo or running more than 1 app. it goes up to 100% and stays there, usually until i reboot.

i ran SmitfraudFix and that seemed to speed up the computer a little but the problem remains.

heres the log:

That is the initial scan. Did you scan with the fix? If so that is the log I would like to see.

The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

I would remove chrome.exe too. There are threads out there about it's 100% CPU usage.

ok. i could do that if you think it will help. this problem happened way before i installed chrome. im starting to think that maybe this is a hardware problem with my video card. what do you think?

It could be hardware or a driver. I would check in the event viewer and see if there are any events associated with the CPU usage.
