I am having problems with my desktop PC; it shows 100% usage of the CPU. It seems to me that the problem starts with installation of the Windowx XP (professional). When the system comes to the formatting disk it hangs over night without anything happened (disk formats fine in another PC), but if I switch to fast format then installation proceeds until comes to 34 min (left for installation) when computer gets stuck (again over night). If I switch it off forcefully the installation would complete when the system is turned on again, but when I looked the "Performance" it shows 100% CPU usage. This results that everything is very slow. I tried to install SP 3 which took over entire day and similarly IE 8 installation. I tried to remove different memory modules (two at the time) but seems that all of them give the same symptoms suggesting that the memory is not reason for this? Does anyone have idea what I should be doing next to resolve the problem.
