    Hi,
Whenever I open a browser (IE or Firefox or Opera) my CPU usage spikes to a 100% for most sites. It happens for everyday sites like yahoo mail, gmail, cnn, espn etc. Am not watching any videos or anything just reading the news/emails and yet it happens. I have run spybot and adaware in safemode, scanned the machine with norton and avg and havent obtained any results. I even get 100% cpu for products like Skype, Real player, VLC etc. The commit charge used is very low. Attached is the hikackthis log. Am not really sure what the issue is. Would really appreciate any suggestions.

Hey all. Its been a week -nothing as yet :(. Its gotten worse. I've upgraded my RAM to 2GB now and still it says 100% CPU for a lot of processes. The same sites/applications on a different machine with the same processor and 1GB RAM have no issues. I have run a spyware check again and still havent found anything. Any suggestions?
