Sincerely lockdown is tough, I thought of playing Maths Workshop which I loved to play as kid and I thought I would play and left cd in tower but then I got other thing to do and forgotten about the CD. Later the night, I heard the computer was roaring noise and I assumed that it was fan issue and switched it off. Then when I turn on computer and wanted to play this game but disappointed it was shattered. Because I learning to be a IT Technical and I wonder if there is any reason why the CD was shattered because of Sata DVD drive , write speed or something.

thanks in advance

Rob

Probably a combination of high spin speed and brittle old CD, or possibly a fault in the drive itself.

A new CD/DVD is really hard to break, My guess it's the 26yr old age/technology
