I have the below listed motherboard. How would I use the second lan connection. I have a gigabit ethernet connetion and a 10 100 mbs connection. What is the advantage to two? I already have a wireless router.
    Thanks
    Jerry

Unless you have a specific requirement, I'd just use one and not worry about the other connection. :)

I am just curious John as to why they have two now. I am thinking there is some purpose in the two ethernet plugs. Is it so you can set up an ip address for remote access?

It could be so you can use it as a server...have the gigabit connection go into your computer, and you would give out 10/100 to another computer, or a router.
