2 identical PCs on same router - one is fine, other has v. slow rapidshare DL speeds.

    OK, so this is kinda weird... at the moment, I am running two near-identical PCs at home... both are same hardware spec apart from GFX and soundcards varying slightly, both are running XP SP3, both are connected to the same router via network cable not wireless... Both have had their internet settings optimised in TuneeUp utilities...

    however, one machine gives me download speeds of 3-400kB/s, downloading maybe 6 or 7 files at a time from rapidshare, and the other is lucky to get 100kB/s downloading three files...

    When I visit speedtest.net the faster of the two gives me 19500 download speed, the slower one gives me 4500... I'm perplexed... anyone got any ideas of anthing I can do to bring the slower computer up to the same speed as the fast one?
