    Hi Gang -

Is it difficult to configure an English XP OS to also contain a Japanese XP OS? My Msft Windows XP book shows step by step procedures for changing to more common foreign languages such as French & German, but does not mention Asian languages.
In this situation I will also be dealing with 2 keyboards - English & Japanese. Do I use a USB connection for the second keyboard? Hmmm - very interesting --

Thanks for your input - Monique :D

As far as I know, you just install the japanese language pack. The keyboard should have its own drivers.

Hi Mister Webmaster - I am uncertain as to what the XP Language Pac is. Is this already installed with Win XP? Or is this on the OS installation disk? If on the disk, is it necessary to have the full installation or can an upgrade be used?

Just a few more questions - Monique

You will need to have installed the language support at install time. It should work with an upgrade. It is just another language.
Does XP support multiple keyboards? I know it has/had problems with keyboards that were not attached at boot and when coming out of standby.

Dave - Thanks for your information. This task sounds more complicated than I would like it to be - such as including the language support at install time.

Thanks again - Have a Great Day! Monique
