Hey I upgraded my RAM from 512 to 1G+512 but Windows only detects the 1G. I checked in Everest Home that they are Both DDR2 and 266MHz. Any clue why they both don't recognise?

Have you read your manual as to how to access the bios?

In order to help you, you need to post the exact system specs; ie make and model of mb, brand and speed of ram, etc, etc, etc.

No one even knows if your system will even support the ram you have installed without knowing the exact specs.

When you first power up, one of the first things you see should be a count of the memory.
