SkyTel.EXE = Process associated with Realtek Voice Manager for some of their audio chipsets

RTHDCPL.EXE = Realtek HD Audio Sound Effect Manager

TINTSETP.EXE /SYNC = Part of Microsoft's Input Message Editor (IME) for translating Japanese/Chinese text in IE, Outlook and Word

TINTSETP.EXE /IMEName = Part of Microsoft's Input Message Editor (IME) for translating Japanese/Chinese text in IE, Outlook and Word

IMJPMIG.EXE = belongs to the Microsoft Input Method Editor. It is used to simplify the input of Asian characters in the Microsoft Office suite.

igfxtray.exe = Quick access to the control panel via a System Tray icon for graphics based upon the Intel chipsets (ie, i810). These chipsets are often included on motherboards. Available via Start -> Settings -> Control Panel

igfxpers.exe = Associated with the Common User Interface module for Intel graphics cards

hkcmd.exe = HotKey" access to Intel's customised graphics properties, it is required, otherwise not. It can be disabled via the Display Properties in the Control Panel

ALCMTR.EXE = Installed with hardware drivers for a Realtek AC97 audio device. It's believed that Realtek uses this file in order to data about the customer. Some users report problems with their on-board sound if this is disabled - hence the "U" recommendation

Basically none of them are required especially ALCMTR.EXE

Right click a empty place on your task bar and then choose Task Manager then click on the Processes tab

look down the list and see what is taking up the memory usage

Your firewall and FireFox seem to be taking some but not to lag you badly.

Is it on the web or everything lagging?

Try this click Start>>Run type cmd click Ok.

In the Command Prompt type chkdsk /r click Enter

You will be asked if you want a check disk to run on next startup click Y and then press Enter

    Restart your PC

Try it again this time let it run without interrupting it and see if it finishes...it has 5 sections to go through.

Try downloading and installing Ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com

Not sure if it will help, but it certainly won't hurt.

The program is completely safe and free. No spyware. No adware, etc...
