    :) HI Folks,
Just about had it with this computer HELP before I throw it out the window! I have two network adapters and only one works, but I don't know how to get my computer to use it?! Plus my friend who lives upstairs is willing to let me use his wireless router and modem and my computer recognizes it but the signal switches from excellent to poor within seconds while I'm loading a page. He bought the router/modem at Best Buy, however there was no instruction manual with it at least that's what he says. He was given some numbers that are really really long by Comcast whom he has cable internet through. Can I get a better signal or is the cement fireproof walls gonna be a problem :p
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am able to follow directions very well so please someone HELP!

your friend could try changing his routers wireless channel to help the signal. he can goto his routers manufactures website and enter the model number and download a manual which will explain how to access it's configuration utility to changes its wireless channel. also, make sure there are no wireless electronics near your pc like a chordless phone.
