Hello,

I have windows server 2008, i would like to know if i have 2 network cards both has internet connection on and both has static ip how to activate both at a time no matter if one runs at a time but i want to make it like if lan card 1 lost internet connection or got limited internet should work from lan card 2 automatically.. I am facing issue for example if internet is running from lan card 1 and if it get limited internet stop until i repair lan card 2 then it work from lan card 2 so how to make changes?

You cannot have two NICs with two different default gateways. I'm not sure if Windows Server has any built in mechanism to support SLA features or keep alives. I doubt it. I have seen the ability to team NICs for active/active or active/standby. But these technologies work with having a virtual IP floating over both NICs.
