Seems like NVidia is going to have a hard time keeping up with ATI

They don't have stats yet on the 9600EX... Hopefully is a good inbetween card... As there isn't much between the $400 ATI9800 and the $150 9600...

As usual as we're seeing... more and more DX9 titles are showing the GLARING problems of the GeForce5900... (I have on on order - but its actually more for testing purposes)

I mean... *IF* I had paid $500 for the GeForce 5900 256mb... and then saw these reviews of the $175 ATI 9600Pros running the LATEST games FASTER and better looking - *I WOULD BE FLOORED*...

(note: It doesn't matter if 5900Ultra can do 300fps in Quake3 vs 275fs of the ATI9800... its an OLD OLD game).

    Also notice... the 256mb 9800Pro vs 128mb 9800Pro....

The 256mb version is 0~3 fps FASTER... avg is 1fps faster!! On one game, it was about 1fps SLOWER in all video modes... LOL!!

Always warn people to NOT buy the 256mb video cards!!

    But the aTI-9800EX doesn't come with a 128mb version... :(
