    1) i borrowed an olympus digital and half of the so calles pics were "movies" - can I edit them, ( ie rotate, etc) and separate as pictures?

    2) have 30 year old pictures scanned with volcanoe high acne which I don't know how to edit; any ideas?

    am including both itmes here for better comprehension of my prob -

    ps: could not load the .wmv file from digital cam here:confused:

    There are movie editors that will capture individual frames and such but the resolution isn’t usually very good. You could probably combine a movie screenshot freeware with the Windows XP movie editor to do most of what you need. Movie Maker 2 is an improved version and a free download from M$ http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx This will capture stills from video: http://www.dirfile.com/simplycapture.htm

    For the acne you can use noise reduction and the blur tool. All of your shots are faded and need some color enhancement. Photoshop’s auto levels did that without any other adjustments.

    Do you have higher resolution originals ... we could fix for you ??

    thanks for the thought but no, dont have the originals here and these were scanned for me by a friend; nothing pro just setting up an old school album of our generation and was hoping people had forgotten about the acne!
    not to worry, will try some of the other recomendations

    Bonk, you can't see any acne because the photo is too low resolution, you can see some in the first picture.
