    Hello,

I have Sony Vaio VPCCW25FG. I installed Edimax EW-7711UTn to get stronger wireless signal but i noticed that I now have 2 wireless adapter in the existing wireless connection I have (lets name it as homewifi)

Therefore, i have 2 wireless adapters in homewifi, both of them have the same security setting etc.

Is this how it is supposed to be?

    Thanks

Not sure exactly what you are asking, but if you have multiple wireless adapters in one computer connecting to the same wireless network you might as well disable or remove all but one of them. For an integrated adapter that you are not using just switch it off.

    Hi TerryNet,

My integrated wireless (aethro) is connected to the internet and at the same time my usb edimax is also connected to the internet.

windows shows I am connected to homewifi but I am connected with 2 adapters.

Inssider show that I am connected at average -35 rssi using integrated aethro but -25 with usb edimax. therefore, i'll disable integrated aethro.

    Thank you for your help!
