Does anyone out there know how to take a 2003 server that loaded with service pack 1 from the CD, where Service Pack1 is integrated or slipstreamed into Windows server 2003 standard edition lately, and take it out?

Normally one would uninstall a service pack you added from the microsoft update site. But in this case I did not install SP1 it came with the CDrom for Server 2003 and the problem is that an application (a main executable for a POS system) gets access violations. Installing the unintegrated with sp1 version of Server 2003 works. I am hoping to be able to downstage it to its previous version before mirosoft hardcoded SP1 into the install, or work a switch that may prevent it from loading during the CDrom install.

I could reinstall a former CDrom that does not install SP1 automatically, but i am remote from the server and that would be difficult, as I am not sure the customer's license key will work on a littlebit older cdrom install, which leaves SP1 out.
