Unless you are planning on running a server. I suggest you keep using Microsoft Windows XP. Microsoft Server 2003 is not recommended for home use.

The reason that there are way many more bugs in Microsoft Server 2003 than in Microsoft Windows XP. Microsoft Windows XP is more dependable and secure.

Unless you plan on setting up a Domain Controller, or some other type of server functionality on your network, I would stick with Windows XP also. Server 2003 has a lot of added security that is added by default when you install it. If you're not used to working with Network Operating Systems, Windows Server 2003 can be extemely irritating for an end user.
