Got to the utility "SFDNWIN" and after i clicked on Download and then on the window with the 632hd300.bin that poped up it said firmware is not compatible with this driver. Could be that i did something wrong so i will go back and try again. Wondered about the "make sure it is the right administrator" coment in the instructions... I'll keep trying...maybe i missed doing something.

    Same thing just happened again.
I also cannot get Windows mail to upload my hotmail, gmail and yahoo accounts. Remote service is what I think I am going to have to do.
    Thanks Oily,
    Ann

That firmware fix is only for the TSST TS-L632H model number DVD drive,so dont use it if your DVD drive is a different model.
"make sure it is the right administrator" ....you might have to right click and run it as "Administrator"

ok, just double checked in properties of the DVD RW drive and it has two things listed under hardware....
    Toshiba MK1636sx ATA divice
and then under that it is the TSST corp CD TS-L632H so i deduct that i have the correct model?

    Back to try again...

When you right click SFDNWIN3.27.13 and click on "Run as Administrator",when the window opens does it show your correct model where it says "Drive"

If you go to Control Panel and User Accounts your account should show up with Administrator under your name.
