Is the DVD drive a TSST TS-L632H if so read here for a firmware fix.

That is from Dell's site but I think Toshiba users suffer from the same problem.
Got to the utility "SFDNWIN" and after i clicked on Download and then on the window with the 632hd300.bin that poped up it said firmware is not compatible with this driver. Could be that i did something wrong so i will go back and try again. Wondered about the "make sure it is the right administrator" coment in the instructions... I'll keep trying...maybe i missed doing something.

When you right click SFDNWIN3.27.13 and click on "Run as Administrator",when the window opens does it show your correct model where it says "Drive"

When i click on Run as Admin, what comes up is a windoqw that say open file security warning and then when i push run .....ok, i am done for the night. Do you do remote help?

Are you running this from an Admin account,will probably have to run it under an Administrator account.
