    Sorry I couldn't put the whole error in the title...

    I tried to change my username manually through the System Management Console and then exited out of the control panel and tried to go back in and it won't let me and gives me this error:

    ::{21Ec2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.

    I don't know how to fix it b/c it won't even let me back in the control panel TO fix it...

    Start > Run > Regedit > navigate to

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

    RIght CLick on it and Export it on Desktop .. then Right click on it on desktop and open it .. Copy and paste the Results here

    I have no idea what is messed up

    is the Problem only with Running Control panel

    can you open the .CPl Items like - appwiz.cpl

    Try making a New User Account and see if Control Panel Works there

    Else do a Repair Installation

    now .. You can copy the data from the corrupted profile to the new one

    yea, thats just a lot of work just b/c of the control panel.. that would take a long time...
