Hi again! What is the CL designation? How do these two differ?

    256MB $89.99 (USD) CT32M64S4D75 SDRAM, PC133 • CL=3 • Unbuffered • Non-parity • 133MHz • 3.3V • 32Meg x 64

    256MB $89.99 (USD) CT32M64S4D7E SDRAM, PC133 • CL=2 • Unbuffered • Non-parity • 133MHz • 3.3V • 32Meg x 64

I was looking at memory at crucial.com.

    Thank you!

If I were to add a stick to my parent's computer (currently has 256MB but I don't know what CL) and it had a different CL number, will that hurt anything?

generally won't cause a problem unless you add ram thats too slow but most systems will just autodetect the speed unless someone has went into the bios and forced a setting.
