    It could go either way, if possible I would just return the PSU, never hurts to be safe.

    yeah.. they're for fans. as long as it's not broken off, it should be fine.

    If the pins are not broken off or partially broken, there's no reason they won't work. I've bent lots of pins back into place without incident. It really depends on the specifics of your situation.

    just make sure the pins are not touching each other or the power supply case.
