ok when i install 3d studio max 4 i get the messages of "cannot copy eula\adsklicense.ini" and it tell me that it will terminate installation. I look for it in discreet.com about the warning message and i found it so i did what it told me to do. put it on archive if the checkmark was on read only. and if that didnt work it said that while installing it was interuppted and it was flagged. i dont know what that means but i know that wise installer didnt complete the installtion the first time so its flagged and susspended from further installations. So it said to click on the instmsi.exe to un suspend it, and i did that, now its still doesnt work, can i use another installer? This is when i came to to u guys. so if u guys know how to unsuspend it on DOS or in sumway. can u guys help me out?
thns in advance.

Hiya

Is this the Demo or Full version? Also, I'm assuming that its the retail version, and not a download.

When you ticked the box for Archive, did you also make sure that the Read Only was unticked?

Eula is the instalation program that will probably only work with that program. Its used by many, and is normally stable.

Also, did you ever have another version of this program before this installation, say a Demo, and this is the full version?

Regards
