    Hi Guy`s,

    I have two hard disk drives, a DVD/CD Rom & a CD-RW.

Iwant to use one HDD just for Video data. (video editing)

How would you suggest that they are arranged on the primary and secondary IDE`s? (one of each, not raid)

Thanks in advance, happy Christmas to all,

    Oldpip

I would put your primary HDD on the first ide channel along with your dvd/cd as a slave. Put the 2nd HDD on the second channel with your cd burner as a slave. Hopefully this configuration will keep the media you are trying to burn and the burner itself on different ide cables. Less chance of buffer underruns etc...
