486 battery

    I'm messing with an old 486. I think it needs a battery for when I am in cmos settings the time and date will go crazy with no input from me. The part that I think is the battery is a small black box plugged in next to the AMBIOS. It is labeled TH6887A

    In the book, system board layout, it is referred to as DALLAS. Is this the battery? Are they still available and about how much? I'm beginning to wonder if I should throw the whole thing in a dumpster. Thanks in advance.
