    Wasn't that AWESOME!!!!? 5.2d FRICKIN GHZ!!! Man I wish I could afford to have Liquid Nitrogen cooling. Or even water cooling. Oh well. :(

    I was watching a program last night, and they are just about as far as they can go stage with silicon transistors, any smaller and they won't work, the next step is nanotechnology, biological transistors, some guy was supposed to have come up with 1, but it turned out to be a fake, his name was schorn or schron

    Yeah, did you hear that a guy a MIT came up with a hologram projector, add that to a PC the size of a cell phone, and you have a nice system.

    I think the hollogram projection is not to far away, saw a program saying that that will be the new thing in mobile phone technology.........you know like in star wars when r2d2 projects the image and message of leila

    And I remember when they KNEW it was impossible to go beyond the 486 processor to 75mhz because heat could not be controlled and drag racing would never break the 5 second barrier.

    although 5ghz sound like a lot. The P4 will be running at 4ghz by the end of the year.

    can you imagine reading this in a few years when we have broken the 1000ghz mark. well be like"how did they last with just 5 ghz.
