A friend wanted to buy a CD burner he was told he
needed at least 64 megs of ram to run it. His
computer is about 3 yrs old, it came with Windows
98, is 300 megahertz, and it came with only 60 megs of ram. My question is will the burner work
with only 60 megs of ram. I thought all of the computers that were purchased fairly recently always came with 64 megs of ram.
Thanks,
Adella

I am running a burner with an old p166 with 48 meg of ram, although slow it burns just fine.

Your friend has 64 meg of ram, only 4 meg must be allocated to onboard video
