    Hi guys,

I recently acquired a legit copy of windows and i have SP2 installed. However, I end up only having 635 mb of space on C drive. I dunno if this is the forum. If not, mods please move?

I recently had to reinstall windows because of an infection. I reformatted the C drive during installation. Would that have anything to do with it?

    Thanks guys!

If the drive is new, the install is fresh, and there's no data at stake, I'd do a format, repartition, and clean install and make sure the C: drive is at least 40 gigs--most here would make the two partitions of equal size. 10 gigs for XP with service packs, security software, and miscellaneous appurtenances is just not enough space, IMHO.
