I bought a copy of XP pro through my school and they gave me both the x32 and x64 versions. I know that x64 allows for much higher memory usage. But what else?? I have an AMD athlon 64 X2 +4200. I am contemplating putting this on a partition I have on a separate drive just so that I may play around with it. How does this OS affect gaming. Im assuming a game has to be writtn to gain any benefit, so im sure there are not many.
But what else is a benefit for this OS?? And does XP pro32 or 64 have active directory?? If so how do I enable it? Any good tutorials for learning AD??
I have a copy of server2k3 coming as well!!! All for about 35 bucks from my school!!!! Full versions, with serials!!!!
