911 i am in trouble.

okay, i was burning cd's with the program nero. there was an error that popped up from there so i opted to abort that one. ever since that everything froze up i couldnt do anything. i ctl+alt+del, it and it still froze up. icouldn't do anything. so i turned it off. and back on. ever since then no where will recognize drive g. which is the drive that took copied the cd's from. i've tried through my computer, nero, realon player. i went into command script and it says its is no longer valid. and thats the extent of my knowledge. please help me.

The first thing to do is look in your device manager and see if windows recognizes your G: drive. If you are running W2K, R-click on My Computer and choose Properties. Click on the Hardware tab. Half way down you'll see Device Manager.

Is this G: drive your CD-ROM or CD / RW? Which is it? Please be specific.
