A bit of a problem

    I got a seagate Hd.. gonna use it as a backup for my laptop.. so I got a HD enclosure.. now.. I know I have to format the HD so that it can be recognize so.. I format it to a desktop.. ('coz u cant format it in a laptop via usb.. right? I think??) anyways.. the Desktop bios recognizes it as a promeary slave but when I got into XP.. the drive doesn't I appear so how can I format it if I can't see the drive .. Help please.. Cheerss! :confused: :rolleyes: :eek:
